ChatGPT, OpenAI and AI by Zapier: from Zapier to n8n
AI steps become the n8n OpenAI node on the Responses API. Later steps that read the answer keep working: the converter rewrites response.content, choices[].text and AI by Zapier's output fields to where n8n puts them.

Check after converting
- AI by Zapier billed through Zapier; in n8n you connect your own OpenAI key.
- Temperature and top_p are left out: GPT-5 models don't accept them.
- ChatGPT's memory key kept a conversation between runs; each n8n run starts fresh unless you add a memory store.
