Does the check upload my code?+
No. It runs in your browser with the same analyzer as the free migration report. Nothing is sent to our server.
Which modules can n8n Cloud's Code node load?+
Only crypto and moment. Python on n8n Cloud can't import modules at all. Self-hosted n8n can allow Node's modules with NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN and installed npm packages with NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_EXTERNAL.
How does Workflow Exit convert the step?+
It keeps your code and wraps it in a compatibility layer, so steps, $.export, $.respond, $.flow.exit, props and data stores keep working in n8n's Code node. In the paid plans, code that n8n Cloud can't run is rewritten with AI and validated before you download it.
How accurate is the check?+
It applies the converter's own rules to the code you paste. A step that loads modules dynamically or depends on other files can need more work. Test every converted workflow with real data before you switch over.
